 Keep the Largest Tile in a Corner Once you reach the 512 tile or higher, try to keep it in one of the corners. This strategy minimizes the chances of splitting the larger tile and disrupts the flow of the game. It also provides a safe space to maneuver and build towards even larger combinations. The objective of the game is to slide numbered tiles on a grid to combine them to create a tile with the number 2048; however, one can continue to play the game after reaching the goal, creating tiles with larger numbers. You lose when your score goes below 0. You win when there are no more moves left i.e. when the board is completely filled, and it is not possible to move any tile.
